What is an MLS?

It’s a group of brokers joined to together in a marketing organization for the purpose of pooling their respecting listings.

What is IDX?

Internet Data Exchange (IDX) is a service engine that displays as set of fields and selectable search criteria pre-selected by the MLS. It displays the initial search results including essential property information and property images. It also displays a full detailed listing report, property images, contact info, and email link back to the members own website and email address. Finally, it allows for the customization of all header colors, personalized agent office logos, virtual tours, and notification emails.

Why do I need IDX?

MLS sites are the second most visited site in the real estate category. It is an advantage for any agent to have an IDX feed. This feed lets the general public view all listings available in your area. Today’s public wants to view homes for sale without contacting an agent until they’ve looked at what’s available.

What is a Virtual Tour?

Virtual Tour gives the consumer a 360 degree picture of interiors and exteriors of a property. You may purchase virtual tours through our virtual tour provider. If you have the ability to take a virtual tour copy the URL under Virtual Tour in Agent Login.

What is an Open House?

An open house is a method of showing a house for sale to prospective buyers. The home is left open for inspection by those who may be interested in making a purchase.

What is Television IDX? Can anyone use it?

  • Television IDX is an agent and Broker centered marketing program.
  • This program uses MLS searches so only agent and Brokers, with their association’s approval, can use this marketing program.
  • The public can use it to view homes for sale and search for real estate professionals only. They can’t advertise on it.
  • This marketing program uses the power of a local television station and website to promote and drive traffic to the local website.

Can I search for a home on your website?

We are a MLS IDX provider. You need to go to an agent website that hosts our search engine.

When do you update? Why aren’t the listings updates in real-time?

We attempt to update during the midnight hours. It also depends on your association’s IDX data update. If they update regularly, the data on our servers is up to date.

I don’t see my MLS association. I don’t see my MLS listed. How can I find out when your MLS system/service will be available in my area?
